Running in my Hood, Steveston BC

Ready to Run

Today was a beautiful day in Steveston BC. The temperature was -1C clear and sunny. Nice change from the dreadful rain we have had for the past 2 months.

So I put on my capri tights, short sleeve base layer shirt with a heavier long sleeve over top, my hot pink Newtons and my great new touque from Sugoi and headed out for a nice 6km run.

If you click the photo of me, you will see the great stuff that I get to see when I run in my neighbourhood.  Or click HERE for the photo set.

Great place to live and run.

Happy training!

I'm so jealous!!! This morning I woke up to -22, no chance of me running in that (hit the treadmill instead.... boring!)

I stopped in at Steveston over the summer as I was in Vancouver for a conference, gorgeous place!!! Lucky gal! Nice Sugoi stuff too ;)

So much different than the concrete jungle of New York City. It must be a peaceful place to live, raise a family, and run. Thanks for sharing.

I've been to that historic Japanese cannery with my mum, a few years ago, We actually spent the whole day in Steveston, had lunch and browsed the shops. It is a very pretty place. What I envy the most though is that there is no snow or ice!
Took me a second to realize you use C, I was thinking, who in their right mind runs in -1F
