Iron Nun - Inspiration

In July 2008 I was lucky enough to compete in the same 70.3 as Sister Madonna Buder. We both completed the Lake Stevens 70.3. Regardless of your faith, Sister Madonna truly is an inspiration at 79 yrs old.

I met Sister in Wisconsin when she spoke at the Fox Cities tri club. I brought my first grade son along and even he was impressed. We're hoping to connect with her again in June when we're out in Idaho. Isn't she the best? What a role model.
